High School at PG电子游戏
High school at PG电子游戏 is large enough to provide variety, but small enough to remain a tight knit community.
The high school curriculum includes the core disciplines of Bible, English, Math, Science, and Social Studies/History. Basic and/or introductory courses are offered in Bible, English, and Math. Dual Credit courses are currently offered in English, Math, and our Social Studies department. PG电子游戏 does offer a live teacher for foreign language (Spanish) with students getting a foundation in Spanish 1+2 with the potential to explore conversational Spanish in courses 3+4.
A variety of elective offerings are available in areas such as the visual arts, media production (graphic design, video production, and photography), yearbook, lifetime sport and activities, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, weightlifting, worship studies, instrumental focus classes, and many others to round out the high school classroom offerings.
We offer expanded academic offerings by making available high school level online courses from Educere, Liberty University Online Academy, and other providers. This opportunity allows students flexibility and opportunity to dive into a field of study that they want to learn more about, but that we may not currently offer in the classroom. Learn more at the PG电子游戏 Connects page.
PG电子游戏 partners with Grand Canyon University and LeTourneau University for our Dual Credit Courses. These courses are 15 weeks long (Fall and Spring Semester) and allow for our students to earn their high school credit while also earning college credits at a significantly discounted rate. Our partnership program allows for our live content teacher to be in the classroom with the students for assistance and exploration of concepts, while students are taking the course online through the designated university.
Students in high school have a wide choice of extracurricular options including drama, worship team, student council, yearbook, and service opportunities. Private vocal and instrumental lessons and band are also available.
Interscholastic sports at the high school level include boys soccer and baseball, girls volleyball and lacrosse, as well as girls and boys, golf, basketball, and track and field.
Our high school graduates go on to attend a variety of colleges, both Christian and secular, and many students have received academic scholarships. Students also go on to attend trade schools, enlist in the military, pursue mission opportunities, and join the workforce. Each student is encouraged to use his/her unique God-given talents and abilities to follow Him in the path He has chosen. Learn more at our Guidance website.
