Secondary Academic Program

Middle school and high school course work in major disciplines (English, math, science, and social studies) is studied following a modified block schedule (42 minutes, three days a week; 87 minutes, two days a week).

All students take Bible as an academic subject in addition to the standard course load.

Introductory Spanish is offered in middle school. Spanish 1, 2, 3, and 4 are offered in high school.

Physical education, fine arts, language, and technology electives taken by middle school students each week.

Physical education, fine arts, language, and technology electives are offered to high school students each trimester.

Dual Credit courses are offered to upper classmen via Grand Canyon University and LeTourneau University. Students will be in a cohort class setting. They will work online with the university via their professor, but will have our subject matter teacher in the room for assistance, extra opportunities to explore concepts, and to help further explain what is being taught.

One of the requirements for graduation from PG电子游戏 is the successful completion of a Senior Presentation. In their Senior Presentation speech students have the opportunity to reflect upon the impact of their years at PG电子游戏 and how those years have prepared them for the future.

A National Honor Society chapter is available for eligible juniors and seniors.

Grades earned in high school honors and advanced placement courses are weighted using a GPA factor of 1.15 for honors and 1.3 for AP classes for grades 75 or above. Weighted GPAs are computed based on final course grades for all courses except those graded pass/fail. Class rank is updated at the end of each school year, based on weighted GPA Data.
Athletics
PG电子游戏 is a member of Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) and Commonwealth Christian Athletic Conference (CCAC).
Middle school and high school sports programs are offered for boys and girls in basketball, track, and cross country. We also offer volleyball for middle school and high school girls, baseball for high school boys, and lacrosse for high school girls, as well as soccer and golf for high school and middle school boys.
